We were appointed by AHDB Cereals to re-design and build their website which was underperforming and to build on-line traffic to support their annual campaign “Breakfast Week”.
Our strategy was to make breakfast important every day of the year. As well as supporting the build up to the campaign week we optimised the site for breakfast related terms aimed at attracting users all year round.
The results were staggering!

By using a combination of high quality build and coding, along with carefully optimised page content and back-link building we transformed a small temporary, niche site into a large and popular on-line resource that ranked at the top of Google’s page 1 for important terms such as breakfast recipes and breakfast recipe ideas. With only a small budget we outgunned sites such as Jamie Oliver and BBC Good food to the top places.

The site also included a resources ecommerce area through which schools and caterers could view and order promotional materials to promote Breakfast Week. Sign up to the site by key audiences showed widespread awareness and engagement with site content, particularly breakfast recipes.
