What do we do for The Shared Learning Trust?
The Shared Learning Trust appointed Be Different as their marketing and communications agency following a competitive pitch that was run openly through OJEC. Our services cover every aspect of the academies’ communications with the outside world. As a result we work with every department to provide support and professional services.
These include preparation of prospectuses and information leaflets for parents, prospective parents and pupils to promote the schools, along with marketing to assist in attracting other schools to the Trust and thus help it to grow. We also took over responsibility for press contacts and created policies and procedures for emergency contacts and crisis management.
For online communications we assessed all academy websites. Where the sites needed strategic guidance we provided it as well as redesigning any that did not meet the Responsive Mobile Standards of the modern web.
We also help The Shared Learning Trust in exciting projects to secure local authority and community backing in creating much needed new schools for the local area.
We’re proud to have secured new partnerships for the Trust. Partnerships allow the Trust to tap into enrichment programmes and support mechanisms, they wouldn’t as an independent school be able to forge.
Teaching Jobs Recruitment
There is a nationwide issue facing all schools in the UK, and it concerns appointments of staff. Many teachers are leaving the profession, consequently there is a constant need to make new appointments. The industry standard way to fulfil Teacher Job Appointments is with the Times Educational Supplement (TES). Recently TES has failed to provide adequate applicants, whilst also representing a large media cost to TSLT.
We devised an alternative model that bypassed TES and advertised directly on Google Search for Teacher Jobs. Our skill and experience with Pay Per Click advertising using Google Adwords was ideal for this task.
This dramatically increased interest and applications to the various TSLT schools at a fraction of the media cost of TES. Our solution provides a more responsive and cost effective alternative across the country.
This is a first of its kind and highly targeted approach which ensures more money is available for actual teaching inside the schools.
If you are a multi-academy trust looking for marketing expertise and help, we cover all aspects of online and offline marketing and would love to hear from you!
